Meet the Founder

Hello Kings and Queens! My name is Keesoon (pronounced with a short e "K - Soon").

When I was younger, I damaged my natural hair with perms, texturizers, blow outs, dyes and everything else. In 2012, I went to the salon to get (my very last) blow out and by the time it was over, my hair was barely touching my chin. My ends were holding on for dear life and due to the different textures in my hair, the stylist told me that I need to do a keratin treatment which should fix everything. I got in my car and cried for 10 mins. For the first time in my life, I was truly embarrassed and mortified of what I have allowed my hair to become. I drove straight to the closest beauty supply store and bought my first wig. I was so desperate that I did not care that it was synthetic. For the next 2 years, I invested in wigs and my natural hair only saw daylight when I washed it.

In 2014 during a wash day, I realized how much my hair have grown with no maintenance at all. I was so excited that I decided to straighten and semi-color it. My hair became extremely dry. I started researching natural hair care and regimens and came across the Indian Ayurvedic Tradition. I instantly fell in love and so did my hair! I went on to buy natural herbs and oils to make my own hair butters and oil mixtures. My hair flourished in ways that I never knew was possible. The compliments and inquiries I received definitely solidify the obvious and I started wearing my natural hair again. In 2018 I noticed that my fiancé (at the time) hair was thinning. I made a regimen for him and ensure that he only used what I made causing his hair to grow back thick.

After using only my products for years and seeing the amazing results, I decided to only use my products in my daughter's hair. I have been using my products in my daughter's hair ever since she was 8months and her hair loves it!
